I'll dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
